The four places coaches stop showing up
Showing up is the most underrated skill in coaching. It matters in four places: mentor calls (builds skill), social media (builds trust), workshops even for 5 people (builds sales skill) and your community (builds loyalty).
People ask me what the secret is. My honest answer is boring. I show up.
But showing up is not one thing. There are four places it matters, and most coaches quietly disappear from at least one of them.
1. Show up for your mentor calls
This builds your skill. I once went to the same training event twice. The first time I skipped the practice sessions. The second time I skipped every lunch break to attend all of them. That second time got me my first stage, in front of 300 people. I am an introvert.
2. Show up on social media
This builds trust. People need to see you again and again before they believe you.
3. Show up for your workshops, even for 5 people
This builds your sales skill. Many coaches cancel when only a few people register. Do not. Five people is five chances to get better at presenting and selling.
4. Show up for your community
This builds loyalty. When I showed up for my community's events, 30% of new members started coming from referrals.
You do not need to be the best. You need to be the one who keeps showing up.
Pick the one of these four you have been skipping. Fix only that one this week.
